Take amlas and ½ cup water in any vessel and place it on flame. Let it simmer till they get soft and tender.
Within 10 to 15 amlas will get tender. Then turn off the flame and strain the amlas in a bowl. Remove the seeds from amla and ground them in a mixture jar to make a fine paste.
Take this amla paste in a pan and turn on the flame. Now add jaggery, salt, black pepper, cardamom powder, red chilly powder and garam masala. Stir and mix well. Let the mixture cook on low lame. Keep stirring at regular intervals and cook until it gets thick in consistency.
Chutney is ready. To check, take little amount of chutney in a bowl. It should have running consistency. If it sets at one place that means chutney is ready.
Turn off the flame and transfer it to a serving bowl. Scrumptious sweet amla chutney is ready. Serve with parantha, poori or apply it on bread as a jam.
